What, Who, How or Why attracts you to this place?

This cabin is our summer hang out. The Hills own this piece of paradise. The land is owned by the 4th and 5th generation of the Hill Family. This place high on the hill overlooking the Little Sioux River Valley is enjoyed by many. There is a public park just a ¼ mile down the road where the public can enjoy the view, have a picnic with a BBQ and picnic table
and even camp – with no electricity.

What makes you happy about O’Brien County?

I enjoy living in O’Brien County and in particular living in this spot. There is no other place in O’Brien County quite like this one.

One memory of “touring” O’Brien County

I walk for miles and miles in this area. Each day on my walk it is a new adventure.

What did you learn during the COVID-19 Pandemic?

During COVID-19 and social distancing eight friends joined us every Friday night for a picnic here. It is the best view in O’Brien County, in my opinion, and a great place to take in nature and wildlife.
